   - Aqueous Layer (Contains hydrobromic acid and some impurities)

4. Collect Organic Layer (Desired Product + Some Impurities)

5. Repeat Extraction (If necessary, to further purify the product)

6. Combine Organic Extracts

7. Remove Solvent (Evaporation or Rotary Evaporator)

8. Obtain Crude Product (Contains desired product with some impurities)
