Chapter 3: "Shy" and "Spy"

As Scott woke up, he found himself a little tense

"For how long will I be able to keep this up?" he tought.

He reached for the restroom and started preparing himself to be presentable.

Back in the kitchen, Gideon was wide awake.

He felt an excitement he could not explain, as if he found a friend, not just an ally.

Gideon took great care into preparing a beautiful breakfast.

He put bacon, but also fruit and toastes syrup as his guest was Canadian and wanted to make him feel welcome.

For him, whatever food was for breakfast wasn't much of a difference, but despite this he added a croissant in case Scott wanted to try somethint slightly different.

Scott was still sleepy. He was not used to such rhythms.

Getting rid of his emotional tension, the guy finally stepped out of the room reaching the kitchen, trying to hide his embarrassment.

He sat on the chair.

<<Good morning you...Do I call you teacher now?>>

Scott expected to see Gideon's strict side any moment now.

Oddly, he didn't

<<Whatever you prefer, as long as we share mutual and basic respect. >> replied the millionnaire, smiling happily

Scott started eating his breakfast starting from the meat, trying so hard to hide his awkward felling for such a surreal situation. To him, bad guys were even more frightening when they smiled.

<<You ok, Pilgrim? You are so silent>> inquired Gideon, while eating a teastes syrup

<<I need time to adjust to this... emotionally. After all I'm still hurt by her, and not everyone trains with a "villain">>

<<I guessed right it seems. Don't worry, you will get used to it>>

In the meantime, in Toronto...

Ramona woke up before Kim, sad and still a little tense.

She could not stop to think about her beloved Scott, his behaviour, and what Gideon could have done to him if it was true that he bluffed.

Ramona moved to the shower, her eyes still sleepy, comforting herself with a song.

A song that helped herself when she needed to confront with her trouble.

The girl kept singing a song called Ulterior Motives, by Christoper Booth, that reminded her of her last ex.

Ironically, this song now reminded her of Scott too.

As she was out of the shower, Ramona neaely leaped in fear, for she saw Kim suddenly awake on her feet, before her.

<<Truly fitting of our situation, this song. I like your voice. Would you sing in our band sometimes?>>

<<Who is the leader of the band now?>> Ramona asked.

<<Young Neil. He copies everything Scott does. Oddly he was not with us, but Stacey told me she would message everyone about it including him. She always gossips, you know>>

<<Kim, thank you again for the company. I'm going for breakfast, see ya later for the training>>

Ramona left to prepare breakfast for the two of them.

Later that day, they would meet Mobile and arrange their training sessions.
